His Legacy Lives On
Dwight “Screamer” Wells was a passionate community advocate whose life mission centered on love, respect, and unity. Known throughout the community for his ability to connect with youth and bring people together, Dwight believed that violence could be prevented through mentorship, visibility, and collective responsibility.
Dwight was deeply committed to steering young people away from the streets and toward purpose. Through conversation, presence, and action, he encouraged youth to choose peace, respect themselves, and uplift one another. His voice carried weight not because it was loud—but because it was authentic, consistent, and rooted in love.
In honor of Dwight’s life and vision, Bikes Up Gunz Down Boys & Girls was established as a youth empowerment and violence-prevention initiative under the umbrella of Kingdom Empowerment Center (501(c)(3)). This initiative carries forward Dwight’s mission by:
-
Promoting non-violence and conflict resolution
-
Providing mentorship and positive community engagement
-
Creating safe spaces for youth expression and healing
-
Encouraging unity through organized rides, events, and outreach
Dwight’s legacy is more than a memory—it is a movement. Every life touched, every child redirected, and every act of peace is a continuation of his work.
